This exhibition brings together some recent work from my Past Presence series alongside People in places and some from Where Town meets Country
Past Presence
Family albums and archives are so important to most of us. But it is often the ordinary moments that are poignant.
Both my father and grandfather took many photographs, slides and shot cine films throughout their lives. From the cine films made in Australia in the 1930's to Ibiza in the 1960's and Norfolk in the 1970s, I started to freeze frames and images and to build upon them pushing colour to inspire mood and altering images to suit my perception of our past lives.
